100% locally made, the Panublix Cotton Crochet Yarn is manufactured by the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC) in Miag-ao, Iloilo, harvested from Philippine cotton farms in the Bicol and Western Visayas regions. Climate change being a real and still pressing issue that we face today, sustainable fashion using means that promote ‘ecological integrity’ comes into frame. We are happy to share that our crochet yarns are made of 100% cotton to provide a more sustainable and environment-friendly alternative to fabrics made of synthetic materials such as polyester.

This 200-gram cone of 100% Philippine Cotton Yarn is made up of 18-Ply threads and is more or less DK/Light Worsted 3 in overall thickness. Since this is an 18-ply yarn and its individual ply is thin, you will encounter some looseness in the plies - which might be a challenge - when crocheting with this yarn. You can consider this when making home and kitchen accessories or even tops.

Care	Carefully soak in lukewarm water (not boiling) water for 10 minutes. Continue until water is clear off of yellow residues. Handwash, do not scrub. Use mild detergent and do not machine dry. Then use cold water for rinsing. Rinse until extra suds are gone and water runs clear. When drying, do not hang. Lay a dry bath towel flat on a plastic, and then gently lay your clothing on it. Do not iron nor hang in the closet.
