The French Knitter consists of a knitting spool and a pin. The four brass pins on the French Knitter produce a narrow tube which could be used as braids and other simple coiled projects such as caps and coasters. The French Knitter is made of wood and the pin is made of plastic. The wood is either varnished or painted with vegetable non-toxic paint.
